The best time of the year is finally! For those who start celebrating Christmas on November 1st, this blog post is for! Atlanta, and its surrounding cities, always has tons of Christmas activities to get you in the season’s spirit. With attractions ranging from beautiful light shows, to 5k’s, to shows to captivate the younger audience, Atlanta has something for everyone, no matter the age.

Starting off strong with things for the kiddos, we have family friendly entertainment options!


Baby Shark Live!: The Christmas Show

Baby Shark Live! is coming to Atlanta, to perform The Christmas Show for all the children who are obsessed with the song and for the parents who are probably tired of hearing it. You have the chance to see the performance on November 20th at the Atlanta Symphony Hall at 2:00pm or 6:00pm.


Saving Christmas

Maybe not for the really little kids, but for those looking for something that the whole family can do together, look no further! Escape Rooms are a very popular activity and what better if its Christmas themed! Time to Escape in Downtown Atlanta, is offering a new room for the festive season called Saving Christmas. See if you and the family can get out before time is up!


Stone Mountain Christmas

With something for everyone, Stone Mountain is hosting their annual Christmas festivities starting on November 12, 2022 through January 1, 2023. Activities range from the world’s largest light show, to a Christmas parade, and a special glimpse of Santa himself! Don’t forget to also get a ticket for the Scenic Railroad around the park, at night it even turns into a festive sing-along experience!

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights

Presented by the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Garden Lights, Holiday Nights is a site to see. Every year the garden put a beautiful display of lights that’ll make you want to come back every year to see it! You can begin visiting the garden for the lights, November 12, 2022.


Lights of Life

Lights of Life, presented by Life University is another amazing light display that comes back year, after year. Located right outside for Atlanta, In Marietta, this is perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to make the trip to Atlanta but still wants to enjoy a Christmas festivity. Lights of Life opens November 24,2022.

Here are some other fun Christmas things to consider if you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary.


Trans-Siberian Orchestra

This rock band is a band that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra puts on an unforgettable show and what better show to see, than their Christmas show. You can get tickets for their show at the Gas South Arena for December 11, 2022 at 2:00pm or 7:00pm.


Christmas 5k

If you love being active and love to find ways to incorporate it into new ways in your life, then this could be for you! The same people who bring you the Peachtree Road Race, bring you it’s festive cousin, the Christmas 5K. On December 10, 2022, join all other running fanatics and run through Virginia Highland and get in the Christmas spirit! Registration is open now!


Holiday in the Park

Roller Coasters and Christmas; does a better duo exist?! Take a trip to Six Flags over Georgia and see the amusement park that everyone loves, lit up for the Holiday season. Select days are available between November 19, 2022 through January 1, 2022 so be sure to get your tickets soon!
